Spatial frames of reference in Vietnamese

Abstract

The paper introduces Levinson’s theory of spatial frames of reference and analyzes these frames in Vietnamese, consisting of absolute, intrinsic, and relative spatial frames of reference with their specific expressions and variants. The findings of this study will contribute to developing the theory of spatial frames of reference according to Cognitive Linguistics.
