This study develops a semantic frame model for business Chinese vocabulary based on data from the Business Chinese Test syllabi. The study uses a qualitative modeling combined with descriptive-inductive methods to identify etymological and hierarchical framework structures. The results show that business Chinese vocabulary can be organized into a layered semantic framework network, reflecting commercial communication and business activities. This model contributes to clarifying the cognitive structure of the business vocabulary field and suggests directions for application in teaching specialized Chinese.
